Iran Deports Over 700,000 Afghans in One Month, Kabul Demands Coordination |

According to the Refugee Affairs Commission, in the past month, six pregnant women safely gave birth after receiving medical services upon reaching the Islam Qala zero point border. Also during this period, the bodies of 95 deceased individuals, most of whom were ill, were returned to Afghanistan from the border via ambulance. Among the deportees, many were found to be suffering from tuberculosis, COVID-19, and skin diseases. Investigations show that a significant number of them contracted these illnesses in Iranian camps. |
