[Korrespondent] The most active battles are being fought in the Pokrovsky direction. There the enemy is attacking in the areas of 12 settlements.
Since the beginning of the day, 72 combat clashes have occurred on the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report as of 16:00 on Wednesday, July 23.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions our soldiers repelled six attacks of Russian invaders. Three more combat clashes are ongoing.
In the Yuzhno-Slobodskoy direction, four armed clashes took place in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamyanka and Dvurechnaya, one battle is still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance seven times near Stepova Novoselovka, Borovskaya Andreyevka, Zagrizovoye, Novoplatonovka. The defense forces successfully repelled four attacks. Three more clashes are ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces units repelled 14 enemy offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Grekovka, Zelenyi Gai, Sredneye, Shandrigolovo, Dronovka and Shipilovka. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy attacked twice in the Grigoryevka area.
In the Toretsk direction, the invaders once advanced forward near Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to storm 26 times near the settlements of Popov Yar, Mirolyubovka, Zatishok, Lisovka, Mirnograd, Zvirove, Udachnoye, Alekseyevka, Novoukrainka and in the direction of Pankovka, Vladimirovka, Sukhetske. Five clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the aggressors attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Zaporozhye, Zvezda, Poddubnoye, Aleksandrovgrad and Volnoye Pole.
