| #3 Plenty of blame to go around. Some kind of lawsuit is probably necessary just to force transparency. It very well may be that blowing the tank cars and burning the chemicals was the least bad option available, and in line with the EPA rules on hazardous materials handling. But, what about the rest of the system - tracks, cars, emergency response, regulations pertaining to handling, etc. |
