| #3 Afghanistan was never made to pay any compensation for 9/11, not even a symbolical sum. The Afghans weren't even forced to do as little as apologize. Instead the Bush administration paid danegeld to the Afghan people and tried to import elements of Afghanistan's tyranny into the West, hoping that the appeased Afghans would stop supporting terrorism in light of the West's partial surrender. That was a grave mistake that greatly contributed to the erosion of Western deterrence. @1 Trump said "Make Iran Great Again." Iran has been "great" since 1979 doing tremendous harm to the world. I'd prefer "Hold Iran Accountable For A Change." |
