Oddly enough, nothing about this embarrassment is reported on the Hodhod Yemen News site. | [IsraelTimes] A ballistic missile launched from Yemen a short while ago, apparently aimed at Israel, fell short in Saudi Arabia or off its coast, according to an Israeli defense source.
Were I Saudi, I would be very motivated to quietly help Israel fix the problem… The military identified the launch, but no sirens sounded in Israel because the missile did not pose a threat.
Since March 18, when the IDF resumed its offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the Houthis in Yemen have launched some 30 ballistic missiles and at least 10 drones at Israel.
Many of the missiles have fallen short. |
