After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
(AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that India was hatching conspiracies to create unrest in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
''If India attacks Pakistain, we will respond with full force— India is actively plotting to destabilise Azad Kashmir," he said while addressing the All-Parties Kashmir Conference.
He emphasised that Pakistain's politicianship must demonstrate complete solidarity and stand firmly behind the armed forces in the face of Indian aggression.
He said that there was dire need to avoid discussing things that could create problem for Pakistain internationally. He, however, maintained that it was appropriate time for us as Kashmiris to talk as the stalemate on the issue has been broken for the first time since 2019.
