#2 I remember reading accounts of Leary's experiences in Algeria and his own telling in a radio interview. Busted though he was, he came home with a new appreciation for America after his experience in overseas. It seems being followed by their security services was a bad trip. He may have been a whacked out acid head but he was not a Muslim or a communist. |
