Since some Libyans can't find jobs after school, the government will pay the average salary when they can't find a job. 12. Part of oil sales in Libya are directly linked to the bank accounts of all citizens. 13. The mother who gave birth to the child will receive $5000 14. 40 loaves of bread cost $0.15. 15. Gaddafi has implemented the world's biggest irrigation project known as the "BIG MAN PROJECT" to ensure water availability in the desert. |

| #6 Some friends of mine would still be alive if he hadn't meddled in other countries' affairs. I gather he tried to make up his own "school" of Islam, with its own documents. I doubt that that endeared him to the orthodox. I'm told a fair bit of the armaments he amassed decayed away--at least the more expensive toys--but from a distance it feels as though once he died, some of the more portable/rugged stuff started spreading out among Muhammadan mischief-makers over West Africa. |

| #4 Ghadaffy threatened to unleash the hordes of Africa on Europe if NATO did not give him what he wanted, so he doesn’t get extra credit that it happened after he was killed. He was a vile and vicious ruler, in the same mould as Saddam Hussein, providing training and funding to anti-Israel and anti-West terrorists with a similarly liberal hand. That he died at that time and in that way just accelerated what would have happened to him anyway in another decade or two, at which point Libya would have fallen apart in the exact same way — continuing so until the next vicious warlord killed his way to the top of the heap. Like Saddam’s lads, Ghadaffy’s were not strong and vicious enough to hold what their papa had seized in his youth. |
