The unidentified aircraft hit several locations in Ranya’s Sarkapkan subdistrict, north of Dukan Lake.
Hemin Abdullah, the mayor of Sarkapkan, told Rudaw that there were no casualties.
"A fighter jet came and hovered over the area for nearly 15 minutes and hit the area twice," a resident of Sarkapkan told Rudaw.

The Ottoman Turkish government did not immediately comment on the airstrike but its defense ministry said their air forces hit PKK fighters on Mount Metina in Duhok province.
