Thousands attended a protest in Tel Aviv on Wednesday, dubbed the "March of Rage," calling for a hostage deal and an end to the war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...

Demonstrators blocked Begin Street and lit a bonfire on the road — which police extinguished later on — while chanting the names of every hostage still held by the Paleostinian terror group Hamas

Demonstrations for the release of hostages, organized by an anti-government protest group called "The Women’s Protest," were held in 75 locations throughout Israel, Channel 12 news reported.

It is believed that 120 of the hostages kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 remain in Gaza — not all of them alive.

#3  Two observations:

1.)
Taking hostages is a good strategy.
If Hamas survives(*) it will be due to their decision to take as many hostages as possible.

In that case I expect that other players wills start taking Western hostages en masse as well.

We should have a close look at vulnerabilities that would enable such, like cruise ships, geographically isolated tourist resorts and destinations and perhaps others that no one is thinking of at the moment.

2.)
After 9/11 and other mass fatality attacks emotions like rage were frowned upon.

Maybe factions other than Muslims and the Western left should start articulating feelings of outrage or even rage.
If only to level the playing field.

(*) If Hamas survives it will be strengthened beyond any measure imaginable before 10/7.

#2  Give Hamas the opportunity to refill their hostage collection in return for a few more hostages, yeah, that makes sense.
