NH's 1st Coronavirus Patient, Told to Stay Isolated, Went to Event Instead |
2020-03-04 |
![]() State health officials said that the first coronavirus patient "attended an invitation-only private event on Friday" despite being told to stay isolated. That person has now been ordered to remain isolated and all others who came into "close contact" with them at the event were asked to stay isolated for 14 days. She had travelled to Italy. Her status being announced on national media, she was well aware, so this is terminal stupidity or worse. Sue her pants off. She's made some real friends at Tuck, who now have to suspend their studies and their lives for 14 days. And I'm doubting that 14 days is actually long enough for this disease. |

#5 There's some next-level stupid for you. Probably not qualified to work in a medical setting. Unless she's a neurologist, of course. |

#1 Live free or die is a fine motto when the only person you are risking is yourself. She was at OUR hospital. Luckily neither the wife nor I have been scheduled up there recently. |
