| WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said it was important to keep a U.S. military presence in Iraq so that Washington can keep a close eye on Iran "because Iran is a real problem," according to a CBS interview to be broadcast on Sunday. |

| #2 I always thought FOB Speicher (formerly Al Sahra Airfield) would have been an ideal location for retention of a US fighter wing poised to strike all the Iranian nuclear targets. Not to mention of course, any mischief taking place along the Syrian or Turkish borders. Maybe they'll just let the IAF refuel there. |
