2018-06-03
[NYTIMES] Maureen Dowd notices, after nine years or so.

#18  Obama is an excellent agitator who's genius was building an agitating army called Deep State, nuetered Republican Comgressmen, and creating a menace to law enforcement via BLM.

#17  The left can't live with Trump, they can't live without Obama, but none are willing to take the logical next step.

#16  "The habit of moral infatuation is a hardy perennial. With Barack Obama, we witnessed a veritable infestation of the species."

"The reaction of Obama fabulist Ben Rhodes accounts for one highlight. Video of the clip is in the tweet below. David Burge (Iowahawk) comments that “it takes a heart of stone not to laugh your ass off.”"

Spent all that money and all that time turning everything he could into shit. He is not well liked at all in my chambers

#14  Obama was product - manufactured and marketed. The political version of fabricated snack foods like Cheetos.

May God bless him and keep him - far away from us. Now and forever more, amen.

#13  A couple of slams aimed at the Biggest Loser Of All Time -

He pushed aside his loyal vice president, who was considered an unguided missile, and backed a woman who had no economic message and who almost used the slogan, “Because It’s Her Turn.”

Obama was well aware during the campaign that his chosen heir sometimes seemed to be phoning it in. Campaigning together in Charlotte, he was nonplused to find out that Hillary had quickly slipped out of a barbecue joint while the president was left on his own...

Poor fellow. Maybe she slipped and fell out of the place?

#12  “Maybe we pushed too far,” the president continued. “Maybe people just want to fall back into their tribe.”

#11  Obama was like an enema. You don't remember the enema so much as the relief that came a little later...

More like taking a good healthy dump...

#10  Raj..you're expecting the left to be logical?

Touche.

#9   how come the economy went gangbusters once he left office? If you're giving Obama credit for what's happening now, doesn't that defy logic?

#8  If you think the article was a tongue bath Frank G, you should read some of the comments.

Obama was too good for us in the same way, in hindsight, Jimmy Carter was too good for us.

True.... but not int he way the commenter intended...

#7  I got Obama on day 1.

He was the perfect candidate for the SJW audience.
A narcissist of the first order in complete command of MSM due to the color of his skin.

The prototypical Chicago pol-frontman. He's not the brains of the outfit he's only the pretty face.

This column and the comments are complete validation that the proggie elites just think they are so much better than the plebs exactly like the European aristocracy of the middle-ages that they long to be.

#5  The left is softly admitting Trump success by trying to give Obama credit for the economic growth.

I'm having trouble getting this (i.e., honest) explanation from lefties - how come the economy went gangbusters once he left office? If you're giving Obama credit for what's happening now, doesn't that defy logic?

#4  I still do not get it about Obama. There really is no proof of his above average intelligence or accomplishments. Sure he reads well from a TelePrompTer but he does not appear well read or known as a critical thinker or have a long (or short) list of significant accomplishments prior to being elected. I suspect if his grades or papers from college had any indication of above average they would of been published long ago.

The left falls into a repeated trap of accepting the message delivery as accomplishment. Is affordable healthcare available post Obamacare? Did borrowing over a trillion a year during the obama years yet growing the economy less than 1/2 trillion a year really digging us out of deep recession? Did creating instability after the surge in Iraq by Bush really get us out of the war?..... I could go on. History was much better to Reagan after he left office and I suspect the opposite for obama; particularly with early and fast successes with Trump. The left is softly admitting Trump success by trying to give Obama credit for the economic growth.
