Two Maoist militants slain in southern Philippines |

![]() Military spokeperson Jo-ar Herrera said troops clashed with about thirty militants at around 6 p.m. which also injured two local civilian volunteers. Herrea said the slain militants were identified only through the aliases "Henry" and "Tibo." Both are said to be members of the NPA's Feliciano Bravo Command operating in Zamboanga del Norte and Sibugay provinces. Brigadier General Rolly Bautista, commanding general of 1ID, said. “There will be no let up of operations against these bandits in order to protect the people and the communities,” Bautista said. |
