Bombs kill four in southern Thailand |

Kampanat Panichprasert said an unknown number of suspected militants first opened fire in front of the Makrud Municipality building in Pattani's Kok Pho district but the gunfire didn't hurt anyone. After the insurgents fled aboard a pickup truck and a motorcycle, the two devices exploded, five minutes apart from each other. The blasts killed three municipality officials and one civilian and injured six people, including three rescuers who had rushed to the scene. Authorities said there were shootings at two other local administrative offices in Pattani province, but there weren't any casualties in those attacks. |
