#7 I agree - lets find out why we haven't built a new refinery in over twenty years. Let's find out why the EPA mandates regional gas blends. Let's look at the effect of federal regulation on US oil production and fuel refining. |

#3 I like how the raggedy chart Chuck is pointing at (jeez, Chuck, who's your graphics guy?) refers to "Big Oil Refiners". This is in contrast to micro-refineries? Or to Chuck's nephew Elmo who occasionally refines a few barrels using a combined cat cracker/ cappuccino machine he bought on Ebay? |

#2 Socialist control freaks like Schumer will never understand one of the basic principles of the market - flood the market with the product and the price will drop like a rock. It's not the companies but the government that is restricting by over regulating the market. |

#1 The price of oil is down a little bit, but itÂ’s still not enough. The average price in New York is still over $4 a gallon, and that is way too high says Chuckie. Ready to set prices, Chuck? I vaguely recall that didn't work out too well for natural gas in - what?- 1976? Steel mills near Chicago had to shut down because what gas there was went to homes. Now we have plenty of gas. Imagine that! |
