2010-12-21 |
![]() Brigadier General Hassan Firouzabadi, the chairman of Armed Forces Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Pakistan is Iran's friend but "it falls short of controlling and stopping terrorists", IRNA news agency reported Monday. Firouzabadi, who is also a member of the country's Supreme National Security Council, said Iran retains the right to avenge its martyrs and if Pakistan fails to control and contain terrorist actions along its border, Iran will use its legitimate right. Iran shares an 800-km border with eastern neighbour Pakistan. |
