10 Taliban Killed in Operations |

![]() In joint operations conducted in 10 villages of Chardara district of Kunduz province, in the last three days more than 10 Taliban, including 2 of Uzbek citizens were killed, the police chief of Kunduz, Gen. Abdul Rahman Sayedkhili, told TOLOnews news hound. Fifteen Talibs and three Afghan police soldiers were maimed during the operation, he added. M Sayedkhili said that they have siezed weapons and some vehicles of Taliban. There has been no civilian casualties in the operation, officials said. Kunduz province borders Uzbekistan and Violence in the Chardara district of this province has increased recently. Afghan and coalition forces have escalated their counter-insurgency operations in the country's volatile regions, in which anti-government forces have received heavy casualties. |
