2007-12-21 |
![]() According to reports, at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, sheriff's deputy Larry Falce, assigned to Sheriff's Central Station, conducted a routine traffic stop on a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta for a defective tail light. During the stop, Falce noticed a Department of Defense parking sticker affixed to the windshield. Falce talked with the driver of the vehicle, Federico Mucio, who identified himself as an employee of the CIA. Mucio, 45, was able to supply a CIA identification card to Falce. During the investigation Falce located license plates from Texas, Maryland, Nevada, Arizona and California and a U.S. government license plate, a total of 12 license plates. After conducting a records check on the license plates it was found the U.S. government license plate had been reported stolen. Several of the license plates had false registration tabs affixed to them. |
