#15 Some Mil forums posters believe [unconfirmed] IRAN will only get three - THREE! Iran must either strike first with every asset its got, or else end up like Saddam and bury them in the desert for potential future utility once Russia-China and America start shooting at each other, as ASYMMETRIC WARFARE, like SUICIDE/CAR BOMBINGS, is pretty much a POLITICAL-PR WEAPON, NOT A MIL ONE. THE LEFTIES WANT DUBYA AND AMERICA TO WAR EVERYWHERE AND CREATE GLOBAL EMPIRE, BUT NOT TO GOVERN OR CONTROL SAID EMPIRE. Fascist = Limited COmmunist/Socialist, Defective, Incompetent, Dishonest, Warmongering Male Brute Bully Thug Washington must expand and expand, Socializing Regulating Centralizing Militarizing and Bureaucratizing everything and everyone, but take no action against America's enemies vv new 9-11's. The NPE can yell and scream bloody murder, but don't do. |

#14 Russia needs cash. They would sell their grandmothers if the deal involved hard currency. Hey, maybe we could sell them some software upgrades for the avionics on those Sukhois. Blue Screen of Death(tm), anyone? |

#13 The air force is drawing lottery numbers to see who gets to kill these birds. We should get a kickback from Russia. |

#12 Disposable consumerism... a beautiful thing:) (By the way, it's ironic that it took Communist China to perfect Disposable Capitalist Consumerism, via mega crap that barely makes it out of the check-out line before self destructing, and should have a label that says, "Caution: This product will fail if used as intended...) |

#6 The SU-25s are going to be some nice targets for our aircraft. Iran has little to no good intercept fighters so the SU-25s will have a brief and not so glorious flight against US positions. |

#5 As far as i know, modern air warfare is NOT about POSSESSING fighter jets anymore. Pilot training, radar capacities(ground and airborne), on-board electronics and missile range matter most. So let the russian cash their checks, and iranians marvel at the new paint on their fighters..... for about 30 mn. I would be more worried if russian sell them advanced SAM systems. |

#4 Since nobody ever seems to come up to go air-to-air with the US anymore, I'm kinda worried about all them US flyjockies running into each other in their excitment at getting shot at an ATA kill. ;) |

#3 Hey Russia got a good thing going, they know the USA is going destroy anything they sell to Iran, why do they care they still getting paid. |

#1 If so much as a single US soldier gets killed with any of this Russian hardware, we owe them one. Payback is a bitch. |
