Canaries in a Coal Mine: Pervasive antisemitism present in US college classrooms, curricula, faculty, ADL finds

[Jpost] Antisemitism on US university campuses has increasingly moved beyond public protests and encampments to take root directly inside classrooms, curricula, and faculty networks, the Anti-Defamation League said in a report released Wednesday.

The ADL also announced the launch of a Campus Classroom Reporting mechanism, a confidential channel designed for students, staff, and faculty to report and seek support regarding classroom-based bias.

The report, titled "Antisemitism Among Faculty and in the Classroom: Trends, Patterns and Institutional Dynamics," said to have identified recurring patterns such as pro-terrorism narratives introduced into coursework, extra credit offered for attending anti-Israel rallies, and faculty singling out Jewish and Israeli students in class.

6 ADL focused on other things for many years.

By about 2005 or so, then CEO Abe Foxman was getting slow and frequently disfunctional.

Jonathan Greenblatt, took over as CEO in 2015. He was a former Clinton worker bee and then an Obama appointee before that and in his first few years basically had ADL carry out Obama favored programs. He basically continued the leftist stuff (pro immigration, anti gun rights, pro welfare, pro trans, anti voting integrity) all the way through Trump's first adman and of course all the way through Biden's admin. He was heavily involved in Biden's "all Govt push to combat antisemitism" in early 2023 (one of the most unsuccessful efforts of all time).

7 ^If an 18-yr-old is bright enough to be admitted to, eg, Cornell ... then that 18-yr-old is unquestionably bright enough to succeed quite nicely without ever going near the antisemites tolerated on and off campus in Ithaca, NY.
