US indirectly warned Iran during talks that Israel might try to kill its top negotiators — NYT

[IsraelTimes] US reportedly feared that Israeli assassinations of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s parliament speaker, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, would derail negotiations.

“We’re holding them back as hard as we can, guys, but you need to make a deal with us fast — those Israelis are crazy mad at you!”

Qatar is an actual slave state with just a few hundred thousand citizens and a clear record of funding terrorism. The fact that we have somehow allowed them to buy their way into influencing so much of America's ME policy and dictating information flow is still crazy to me.
