Trump escalates warning to Iran after newest US strikes: 'They may never learn'
President Donald Trump warned Saturday that the United States could escalate military action against Iran after U.S. forces carried out another round of strikes on Iranian targets.
“United States aircraft just struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites, for violating the Cease Fire Agreement, AGAIN!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started,” he added. “If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!”
IRGC reportedly claims strikes on US military sites in Gulf
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it carried out a joint missile and drone operation targeting U.S. military sites in Kuwait and Bahrain, according to Iran International, which cited Iranian media.
The IRGC said the strikes were in response to what it called U.S. attacks on Iranian coastal positions and warned that any further violations would receive a “crushing response,” according to Iran International.
Fox News Digital has not independently confirmed the IRGC’s claims.
CENTCOM releases video of US strikes on 10 Iranian military targets after tanker attack
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released video Saturday showing U.S. Navy and Air Force fighter jets carrying out strikes on 10 Iranian military targets at multiple locations in and near the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM said the strikes were launched in response to Iran’s one-way drone attack on the Panama-flagged tanker M/T Kiku earlier Saturday. The military said the targets were tied to Iran’s military infrastructure in the strategic waterway, where tensions have escalated despite a U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement.
The video was released hours after CENTCOM announced the latest operation against Iranian targets.
US official says Iran reconstituted air defenses along Strait of Hormuz after April campaign
Iran rebuilt air defense and missile systems along the Strait of Hormuz after the U.S. bombing campaign ended on April 7, a senior U.S. defense official told Fox News.
The official said Iran had reconstituted military capabilities around areas including Qeshm Island and Sirik, which were struck during previous U.S. operations.
“In the time since the ceasefire on April 7, Iran has reconstituted,” the official said, adding that those rebuilt capabilities were among the targets of Saturday’s U.S. strikes.
The defense official also confirmed to Fox News that the latest U.S. bombing campaign has concluded.

The U.S. military launched a new round of airstrikes against Iranian targets Saturday after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IGRC) attacked another commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, according to a senior U.S. official who spoke to Fox News.
The official said the strikes are targeting Iranian air defenses, drone storage facilities, cruise missiles, targeting radars, minelaying capabilities and surface-to-air missile systems.
“It’s a larger strike than last night,” the official told Fox News.
“Iran had a chance to stop shooting … and they didn’t take it,” the official said. “Instead, they attacked another ship in Hormuz this morning, the MT Kiku.”
CENTCOM says US launches additional strikes on Iran after ship attack: 'Vigilant, lethal, and ready'
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Saturday that American forces carried out an additional round of strikes against multiple Iranian military targets after Tehran attacked another commercial vessel transiting near the Strait of Hormuz.
According to CENTCOM, Iran was given an opportunity to honor the ceasefire agreement after Friday’s U.S. strikes but instead launched a one-way attack drone that struck the Panama-flagged tanker M/T Kiku early Saturday.
CENTCOM said U.S. military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communications systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities and minelaying capabilities in response to the attack.
“Commercial vessel transits through the Strait of Hormuz continue,” CENTCOM said. “U.S. forces remain vigilant, lethal, and ready.”
Iranian currency weakens after post-US deal rebound
Iran’s currency resumed its decline Saturday after briefly strengthening following Tehran’s agreement with Washington, according to Iran International.
The outlet reported the U.S. dollar was trading at about 1.68 million Iranian rials on the open market, up from roughly 1.53 million rials after the U.S.-Iran deal was announced earlier this month. The rial had fallen to a record low of about 1.9 million per dollar in May.
Iran International also reported the euro traded above 1.9 million rials, while the British pound topped 2.2 million rials.
Israel-Lebanon agreement deals ‘strategic blow to Iranian axis,’ Israel’s defense minister says
Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz said Saturday that the U.S.-backed framework agreement between Israel and Lebanon “deals a strategic blow to the Iranian axis.”
“The important principle established in the agreement is that there will be no Israeli redeployment in southern Lebanon, and no withdrawal, as long as the terror organization Hezbollah is not disarmed throughout all of Lebanon, and the safety of northern residents is guaranteed,” Katz said in a statement. “This is the fundamental condition that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I pledged to uphold, and we are fulfilling it.”
“The agreement also deals a strategic blow to the Iranian axis. Iran attempted to force an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon through threats and pressure on the US—and failed,” Katz continued.
“Instead, a framework signed by the US, Israel, and Lebanon has been established, mandating the disarmament of Hezbollah throughout Lebanon and making it clear that Lebanon's future will no longer be dictated by Iran and Hezbollah,” he added.
Katz also said, “Should Iran attempt to attack Israel to prevent the implementation of the agreement, we will act against it with great force and demonstrate the existing power gaps between us” and that he and Netanyahu “have instructed the IDF to prepare for a prolonged stay in the security zone, and to ready themselves accordingly to protect IDF soldiers and remove threats to northern communities.”
Tanker struck in Strait of Hormuz was carrying Qatari oil, headed to UAE: sources
Sources told FOX Business’ Lauren Simonetti that the Panama-flagged crude tanker Kiku, that was hit by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, was carrying Qatari oil and was headed to the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Centre said earlier Saturday that it has received a report of a tanker being hit with a projectile “within the Strait of Hormuz.”
“The Master of Tanker has reported being struck by an unidentified projectile,” the UKMTO wrote in an advisory. “The vessel sustained damage to their bridge; all crew are reported safe. No environmental damage reported at present.”
The Fujairah Oil Industry Zone “hosts the Middle East’s largest commercial storage capacity for refined oil products,” according to its website.
Authorities in the UAE previously have reported fires in the area in March and May following the interception of drones from Iran.
Iran unleashed strikes on eight American military targets across the Persian Gulf early on Sunday, dramatically escalating fears that the fragile US-Iran ceasefire is on the verge of collapse.
It came just hours after President Donald Trump warned he would wipe the Islamic Republic 'off the map' if fighting erupted again.
Tehran said its Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps fired ballistic missiles and drones at the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, describing the barrage as retaliation for American airstrikes ordered by Trump on Iranian military sites.
As the attacks unfolded, a US military official confirmed: 'Iran has launched multiple missiles and drones towards neighboring countries including Bahrain and Kuwait. The situation is still unfolding. There are no reported US casualties or major impacts or damage to our locations at this time.'
The latest exchange marked the most dangerous escalation since Washington and Tehran agreed to an interim ceasefire, with Iran's Revolutionary Guards warning that American military bases across the region 'will be experiencing hell during these days.'
The barrage came only hours after US Central Command announced a second wave of American strikes against Iran in less than 24 hours, saying US aircraft had hit surveillance infrastructure, communications systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities and minelayer capabilities along the Strait of Hormuz.
Officials described it as a direct response to an Iranian attack on an oil tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
