SAVE Act Killed By Four Republican Senators - For The Second Time

[WOAI] A key part of the Trump agenda, the Save America Act that would help secure our elections, has failed again.

Four Senate Republicans killed another effort to pass President Trump's marquee voter ID and election integrity legislation as the GOP marches to fund immigration enforcement.

Just like last time, Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., joined all Democrats to thwart the move.

I believe at least the latter two will not be returning next year, a very good thing. But let us hope for Senator Collins, who is still infinitely better than the Democratic Nazi-lover.

It’s the second attempt by Republicans to attach the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act to their budget reconciliation package, and the second time that they’ve failed to get the legislation across the line months after launching a quasi-floor takeover to debate the bill.

2 Collins is so very disappointing, and far too often! Who the hell does she think she is? Some spacey queen from another planet? Reminder: you are representing Maine! Keep this up, fool, and Platner (heaven forbid) might defeat you. I am NOT voting for you. It's the smell, the cloying stench of self-entitlement.

The rest - Tillis, Murkowski, and McConnell are just scum. Acting their part. Utterly disgusting.
