Rahm Emanuel says ‘tough times… require a tiny dancer'

[FoxNews] Emanuel pushes back on ‘straight White man’ question, says ideas matter most in 2028. The former ambassador, Chicago mayor and Obama-era chief of staff who is mulling a White House bid is stopping in key early presidential primary states.

Rahm Emanuel is shrugging off the Democratic Party's identity debate and emphasizing that the showdown for the Democrats' 2028 presidential nomination should be about ideas and not gender.

Should is all very well, but he is everything current Democratic Party shibboleths forbid: white, male, heterosexual, Jewish, and Israeli. Nor does he have the charisma of Bill Clinton to push through regardless. But if he can find donors who’ll give him money to throw away proving it, I say go for it.

The former Chicago mayor and White House chief of staff to President Barack Obama is mulling a White House run of his own in 2028 in the race to succeed term-limited Republican President Donald Trump. But in a party that has made diversity one of its core tenets, Emanuel will have to face the question: will the Democratic Party elect a straight White male to represent it?

Emanuel told Fox News Digital on Monday that Democrats should be asking potential presidential contenders different questions entirely, such as: "Do you have the ideas of how to make sure the American Dream is alive and well, accessible and affordable to another generation?"

He’s right, of course. But they won’t — they’re not yet at the extinction burst stage of the proceedings.

6 These days, the Dems seem to be about anarchy and tearing up cities and not "tiny dancers." The Dems could run Hunter Biden. They have a lot of attention-getting, ready-made video they could work into such a campaign.
