Reps Burchett and Moskowitz Unite Against Rising Antisemitism on Fox News, calls to jail "American Zionists", 367% rise in hate in the last month.

[X] Republican Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee and Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz of Florida appeared on Fox & Friends from Capitol Hill to condemn surging antisemitic incidents, which have spiked since the October 2023 Hamas attack on Israel. Burchett, who has critiqued Israel policy before, called out rhetoric from both parties and urged Christians to speak up, noting Jesus was a Jew. They highlighted threats like Texas candidate Maureen Galindo's calls to jail 'American Zionists,' vowing to expel her if elected, amid reports of a 367% rise in antisemitic propaganda in one recent month.
Rep. Tim Burchett is demanding that Christians in America reject antisemitism, saying it goes against their faith since Jesus was Jewish.
He says too many people are unfairly blaming Jewish communities, using the same kind of rhetoric Hitler used, and points out that Jews make up less than 2% of the population.
