Fire kills four in Central Darfur displacement camp
|
[SudanTribune] At least four people, including children, were killed and 12 others injured on Monday when a massive fire swept through a displacement camp in Sudan’s Darfur region.

led by Abdul Wahid el-Nur, confirmed the casualties in a statement. The blaze destroyed large sections of a camp in the Golo area of Central Darfur state.
The fire completely razed three blocks within the camp and partially damaged several neighbouring housing units. The civil authority issued an urgent appeal to international and local aid organizations to provide emergency medical teams and health supplies for the injured.
