Russia and the FLA have reached an agreement, in line with the demands of the Azawad rebels, allowing Russian paramilitary forces from the Africa Corps to withdraw from the former MINUSMA camp in Kidal (đź“ą in comments). They had been holed up there since the start of the assault on the city alongside the Malian army.
This agreement initially included an escort of the convoy by the FLA and, secondly, a destination chosen by the rebels, Tessalit rather than Gao.
