IRGC calls out for help from the Kinderkriegar

[IRANINTL] An official from Iran's Revolutionary Guards said the minimum age for participation in war-related support roles has been lowered to 12, according to remarks aired on state media.

Rahim Nadali, a cultural official with the Guards in Tehran, said an initiative called "For Iran" [child warriors or Islamic Youth Brigade] was recruiting participants to assist with activities such as patrols, checkpoints and logistics.

"Given that the age of those coming forward has dropped and they are asking to take part, we lowered the minimum age to 12," he said, adding that 12- and 13-year-olds could now take part if they wished.

The move comes despite Iran's commitments under the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which prohibits the use of children in military activities. # id) ?>

3 They're Muslims, They lie constantly and will use anything they can, agreements be damned!

Have there ever been an agreement the Muslims adhered to? I can't think of anything except one, That's the "kill all infidels" agreement.

4 well Egypt has keep its part of the 1979 deal with Israel with some fairly minor violations

UAE and Bahrain have pretty much kept their 2004 trade agreement responsibilities with the USA. Security agreements are more recent.

5 Yes because there's lots of money to be made.

Egypt kept their agreement mostly becaause of the billions that USA give them to be "peaceful". (Camp David accords)

UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are very wealthy on their own (mostly from oil sales) and outsized influence so they don't need to act like Iran.
