Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman said Wednesday that he believes his party lacks a real leader and is instead ruled by a hatred of President Donald Trump.
The senator, who has crossed party lines multiple times in the upper chamber to vote with Republicans, was asked who he believed is the leader of the Democrats as the country gears up for the 2026 midterm elections in November.
"Oh, we don’t, we don’t have one. I think, I think the [Trump Derangement Syndrome] that — I think that’s the leader right now," Fetterman told "All-in" podcast host David Friedberg. "You know, right now our party is governed by the TDS, and now it’s made it virtually impossible, without being punished, as a Democrat, to agree something’s good, or ’I agree with the other side.'"
