US military deployment in the middle east in preparation for the attack on Iran, visualized

The latest chatter is that US Ambassador Mike Huckabee royally pissed off all of our MNNA allies like Saudi, Qatar, Jordan, UAE, Fifth Fleet HQ in Bahrain, etc. with his "Israel can take the whole Middle East" comment and they won't allow us to use their bases which is going to make this whole operation a lot more difficult. It's still doable but he should have kept his big mouth shut.

Posturing. We have use of Israel’s bases couple of aircraft carriers, and no doubt other sites around the world. For all our MENA (Middle East/North Africa) allies want all the bennies of being a Friend of Israel, they don’t want to be seen supporting Israel because big, bad Master Religionists are supposed to hate the Jewish nation. And they certainly don’t want to be in Iran’s crosshairs, in case Iran actually makes a couple of nukes. So something Ambassador Huckabee said in passing as a personal opinion in the two hour Tucker Carlson interview is deliberately being blown out of proportion — it’s as good an excuse as any to appear to take a step back.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I’m definitely hoping Israel and the US Navy destroy everything dangerous in Iran in one swift bombing run. Purim would be a fun day for it, commemorating the saving of the Jewish people in ancient Persia as recorded in the possibly-fictional Book of Esther, which this year starts the evening of March 3rd, that is to say next Tuesday. Or after the next meeting for negotiations on Thursday — that would be fine, too, or whenever all the pieces are in place.
