Rifts Deepen Among Pakistan-Focused Militant Groups Under Afghan Taliban Patronage; Fresh Jamaat-ul-Ahrar Recruitment in Kunar
According to sources, a large number of individuals have recently pledged allegiance to the Fitna al khwarij Jamaat-ul-Ahrar in the village of Baily, Shultan district of Afghanistan’s Kunar province.
Those who took the oath include several group commanders: Maulvi Zabihullah (Afghani), Maulvi Abrar (Pakistani), Haji Gul (Afghani), Mufti Ilyas (Pakistani), Maulvi Hamid Bacha (Afghani), and Saddam alias Arshad (Pakistani).
