Afghan terrorist forces opened unprovoked fire on a Pakistani border area near Chaman in a clear act of aggression. The intent behind this action appears to be the facilitation of Fitna-e-Hindustan elements attempting to cross the border under the cover of firing, once again aiding terrorist activities inside Pakistan.

Such provocations are not new and have repeatedly been aimed at destabilizing Pakistan. These actions endanger regional peace, threaten stability, and severely damage bilateral trust.
