Following a deadly assault on Chinese mining camps in Takhar, which claimed the lives of 5 Chinese workers, the Chinese Embassy has directed all its citizens to leave Takhar and Badakhshan provinces immediately.
This is the 3rd attack in these northern Afghan provinces bordering China and Tajikistan, highlighting a worsening security situation.
The Afghan Taliban regime is directly behind these attacks, creating chaos, targeting civilians, and failing to protect both locals and foreign workers.
