2 ^ I can see the appeal, but that would just stir up more shit. Plus, there is some, shall we say, moral ambiguity involved.

On National People's Radio (NPR), they just announced that 200 members of the Guard are being pulled out of both Chicago and Portland. This was attributed to popular resistance to TrumpHitler both in the courts and on the street.

200 guys from each deployment sounds like troop rotation to me. There was no mention of replacements which I attribute to an act of 'journalism'.
