USAID Programs Slashed by 83% Under Rubio''s Directive / X

[X] Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced the cancellation of 83% of USAID programs, impacting 5,200 contracts. These programs, which spent billions of dollars, were deemed not in line with U.S. interests. The remaining 1,000 programs will now be managed by the State Department to increase efficiency and align more closely with national priorities.
