2 Reported Erodogan has agreed to approve Sweden's membership into NATO in exchange for US approval of F-16s. Sen. Menendez had put a block on approval of the sale of F-16s to Turkey.

Timing of the Menendez raid, after Erdogan relenting on Swedish NATO entry, is suspect since it's been known for years that Menendez was corrupt as well as committing other serious felonies.
