1 This is such a travesty, it defies belief. His property is invaded daily by illegal aliens, many cartel mules or trafficked illegals in "coyote"-led groupings. The have weapons and communications and use his property as a thoroughfare. He has been dealing with it in the only way any sane property owner can, and somehow, an illegal with historic crime and trafficking connections is killed. Now the local sheriff and magistrate, whose political and cartel ties are strongly rumored, plan to destroy him and his wife for doing what the US government fails to do. The cartels will buy witnesses and any jury will know full-well the consequences of any verdict but guilty. Even 30 years ago, "plata o plomo" was the reason most common folk bent the knee to the cartels!
