Given the CCTV footage and likelihood of an ATM card used, instead of $$$ they are findable. IF the police even decide to track them down.

2 Given the DA doesn't want to prosecute crime there, best thing the cops can do is take notes and make the record official.

5 Police say the shooter then took the stolen money from the suspect and gave it back to the customers. He and the other patrons then left, officials say.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the restaurant owner and workers were the only ones who remained at the scene.

8 Even if the Harris county or Houston tried to prosecute the one that killed the robber, a jury will vote not guilty. it's WHY even in Houston/Harris County they rarely even try. It frustrates the hell out of them but if they try to hard they WILL get voted out.

12 If the place sells enough booze the gun might be illegal in the establishment. That could explain why the place was targeted as well as why the shooter moved on quickly.

Also the video freezes before the shot, the line is drawn. Is that really when he shot? or just the last visible frame?
