#3 I guess I am a contrarian. In the West all we have been given is NATO/American media/ Government psyops propaganda. In UK you cannot express your positive opinion of Russia. Olin Graham types have promoted this war with Russia for several years now. NATO also. NATO is directly involved now orchestrating current war efforts. Probably USA as well. Russia has held back on this effort. Now it seems the war will be boosted up a level to involve more troops and equipment. Labeling Ukrainian government as a terrorist nation will for the Russians allow for more aggressive actions. Then to move on they had to legally make this change according to Russian legalities.

#4 I should add Putin's actions have aligned 2/3 of the world countries to Russia and China. Putin is going nowhere. Recent Russian elections have shown his popularity is solid at home. Economic growth, low inflation, prestige are his at home. This coming winter will be a severe challenge to the Western world. Bush and Clinton ignored the agreement with NATO and Russia and allowed NATO to grow to Russian borders.

If after Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan you believe anything Intel tells you, you're a damn fool. That includes Twitter, Telegram, or otherwise "experts".

Divide, cancel opinions, block those who do not conform to group thought. Well the world is changing fast and in not in the ways we want to see it change. So it is a little thing that two thirds of the world now side with Russia and China. Then why did the CIA meet in a secure basement room with members of congress today. Something big is happening and our media will be the last ones to tell us what the concerns are. The pages of history are being written and I don't like what is to come. Why?, I merely reply what has Biden done right so far.

#14 What I care about:

* - Russia got a bloody nose.
* - US was able to field test a lot of our stuff.
* - Russian equipment still sucks
* - No US troops deployed to Ukraine
* - Polish want to buy LOTS of shiny US toys.

It's not to say that I support Ukraine but that I'm against Russia. I like Russians and have worked with many here in the oilfield, but their KGB led government sucks the big one and while I'm sorry the people are paying such a bloody price, they also 'elected' these KGB clowns.

#16 Better them bleeding the Russians than us. Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq, and Vietnam, where we took half measures and bled for it.

It is schadenfreude, but nice to see Putin the despot exposed for what he is, the Russians unequivocally exposed as goons and bullies getting a punch to the nose, and all the Russian symps being exposed. All without US military having to shed blood and suffer the inept policies of the beltway Uniparty.

This does not mean the Ukrainians are the good guys, after all, look at the Biden corruption prior to all this in Ukraine. But it is rather convenient that the corrupt are fighting the authoritarians, and the more they destroy themselves, the better this world gets.

Its politically incorrect, but Ukraine has become the Tar Baby for Russia. And there are not any two governments (not the people - they suffer) that deserve themselves any more than those 2.
