1 Sad they didn't catch the guy who tried to rob him -- HE is the one who should be facing felony murder charges.

2 Reading the article I think the guy needs to be charged with negligent homicide. He didn't verify his target and just blasted the vehicle he assumed they were in. This is why you don't shoot at fleeing criminals.

Have to agree with " Silentbrick" in part.
Gun ownership and use comes with responsibilities.
When to use, where to use, and hitting the target and not innocence bystanders are a few.

4 Not much different from motorcycles, in the sense that the idiots make everyone else look bad. Of course, an idiot with a gun can cause unnecessary, tragic things to happen.

Imagine if the answer to corrupt politicians was to ban politics. That would get them started...

5 I live in Texas and it's not worth it to shoot a fleeing criminal over property. Hurt my family and it's another thing entirely. But I can't face the legal risk of shooting outside of a imminent threat
