Texas judge hits panic button in court after brother of murder victim, 16, shot 22 times in back while walking her dog tried to attack suspect as he was freed on house arrest
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Diamond Alvarez, 16, was shot 22 times on January 11 as she walked the family dog, Peanut, near their Houston home

  • Her on-off boyfriend Frank DeLeon, 17, was arrested and charged with her murder, and freed on a $250,000 bond

  • DeLeon was taken into custody on Monday after the ankle monitor he wore reported that he had left his home, where he is under house arrest

  • On Thursday DeLeon was back in court and freed again after a judge accepted that the ankle monitor was likely faulty

  • Alvarez's brother Abel lunged at DeLeon in court, and Judge Hazel Jones hit the panic button to call for security to escort Abel out of the courtroom

  • Alvarez's mother, Anna Machado, said she was frightened for the safety of the family because DeLeon lives two minutes away: 'He's laughing at us,’ she said

#1

Sounds like Texas also has some screwy DA's & Judges, or the DeLeon family has some serious pull and $$$$ to get bail for a known problem child.

#3 OK, here's my sexist post for the day:
Seems like female judges are leading the charge to decriminalize crime.

There! I said it!

#4 This is in Harris County, home to the concentration of Democrats outside of Austin and San Antonio. During the BLM/Antifa riots, the only reason Harris County cracked down on them was they were terrified they'd do something outside of it, where they'd be met with instant and massive violence as humans defended themselves and their homes. Even on the highways, I'd say 30% of people driving are armed and a BLM car party would end in gunshots from multiple vehicles.

Seems like young female judges are leading the charge to decriminalize crime.

#6 About those judges: how many of them are Democrats, and possibly chosen by Democrats because they are young and female and — mostly — persons of a visibly minority persuasion?

#7 ^ Well, it's not like they'll be taking time off from hammering American Constitutional rights for a pregnancy and family leave, amirite?
