Gunmen Attack Jos Prison

 [SAHARAREPORTERS] The Nigeria Correctional Service (prison) located in Jos, the Plateau State capital has come under attack from button men suspected to be bandidos
Some unknown button men on Sunday afternoon attacked the facility.
A source told SaharaReporters that heavy gunfire could be heard in the area.

Some button men on Monday, October 18 attacked the Oko Medium Security Centre in Edo State and freed the inmates.
The button men overpowered the armed guards at the facility and looted shops along the road to the facility,
Also in October, button men attacked one of the facilities of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS), in Oyo State.
The facility christened Abolongo correctional facility, was attacked by the button men on the evening of Friday, October 22.
It was gathered that the button men set all the prisoners at the facility free during the attack.
It was gathered that the attackers used grenades to gain access and set prisoners free.
Spokesman for the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) in the state, Olanrewaju Anjorin had confirmed the attack.
