#3 The Wu got their name from the classic famous Shaolin and Wu Tang movie collection. It was a series of Chinese movies about the art of martial arts released back in 1983. The Wu were fascinated by the name, especially between the ongoing fighting of the Wu Tang and the Shaolin.
