In a statement, the cell stated, "Through a qualitative and focused operation based on accurate intelligence information, the Special Intelligence Missions Cell of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security was able to track down one of the murderous Moslems wanted for judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article (4) of the Anti-Terrorism Law, on the right side of the city of Mosul".
The statement added, "The accused is one of the murderous Moslems who operates in the so-called Diwan al-Jund in the terrorist gangs of ISIS and participated in many terrorist operations against the security forces and defenseless citizens."
The statement continued, "He was lured by the intelligence and security heroes, arrested and handed over to the competent authorities to obtain his just punishment for the crimes he committed."
