Trump bans Communist Party members from immigrating to America

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] The Trump administration announced it will ban members of any foreign Communist party from immigrating to America. This includes the Chinese Communist Party. The new policy took effect on October 2.

The Trump administration’s Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced an update to the USCIS Policy Manual stating, "to address inadmissibility based on membership in or affiliation with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party."

"Membership in or affiliation with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party is inconsistent and incompatible with the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America, which includes pledging to "'support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States,'" USCIS noted.

"In general, unless otherwise exempt, any intending immigrant who is a member or affiliate of the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party (or subdivision or affiliate), domestic or foreign, is inadmissible to the United States," the release added.

7 Amazing that he had to do this. I would have thought a common sense policy like this would have been implemented in 1917 at the very latest. Of course, "any other totalitarian party" would include Islam. Right? Right?
