If I were FBI Director Christopher Wray I'd be dusting off my CV in preparation for a possible Orange Man win in November. With a net worth in excess of $40m USD, he won't actually be looking for a job, only a new position of power.

Being in government for the upper echelons is apparently very lucrative. One may then also assume that when that money stream is disrupted, the person may do whatever it takes to get that stream back on track.
