Iraq did not have a strong connection with China, unlike Iran which had a joint Chinese/Iran team building a high speed rail line.

still, as implied by glenmore, it is almost certain that the actual numbers are larger than the reported numbers

But the Shiite portion of the country is practically a suburb of Iran, lord garth, with lots of travel in both directions.

although there is quite a bit of animosity between the Persian shiites and the Arab shiites so they may not have mixed it up that much

also, that part of Iraq is already warm so the virus may have some trouble getting from person to person

also, I don't think the southern part of Iran has that many infections compared w Qom and tehran
