#1 for Iran as of today,

infections over 10,000 (2000+ in past 24 hours),

deaths over 400 (100+ in past 24 hours)

and that's the official count; almost certainly a significant undercount

I suspect that, like China, the virus is more deadly in Iran because the air pollution has been so bad for so long it damaged peoples lungs.
