[Regnum] In Khabarovsk Krai, hunting supervision officers responded to the village of Solontsovy after local residents reported a large tiger entering a residential area. This was reported on November 5 by the REN TV channel's Telegram channel.
Video footage published by journalists shows that the predator, while driving through the streets, showed no fear of passing vehicles and veered off the road into the yard of a private home. The authors note that local residents have good reason to be alarmed: two years ago, a tiger mauled a logging truck driver, after which the aggressive animal had to be captured.
Earlier, in January 2025, near the village of Zimniki in the Dalnerechensky District of Primorsky Krai, a tiger attacked a local fisherman. The 53-year-old man's body was discovered by his son. He reported that an Amur tiger had been crouched near the remains. Hunting Inspectorate specialists confirmed the predator's involvement in the fisherman's death. The tiger, which posed a threat to local residents and hunting inspection specialists, was shot.
